Cancellation Policy

The below outlines my Cancellation Policy. A copy of this is located in each listing, during checkout, and in your confirmation email.

50% Refund Requirements

If cancelled later than 12:00pm one week before the stay begins, a 50% refund is available for the first 5 cancelled calendar days from the cancellation request date.

100% Refund Requirements

Seven Days Notice
A full refund is available if cancelled by 12:00pm one week before the service begins. 12:00pm is determined by the sitter's time zone.

Major Holiday Refund Requirements

Any booking that surrounds a major holiday that is in high demand, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, would require a 31 day cancellation notice or more, for a 100% refund. Any cancellation within 30 days is subject to 50% refund. A cancellation within 2 weeks is subject to no refund.

 

I will include an exception to this rule if there is a hurricane that directly impacts Palm Coast to the extent that an airline cancels all outgoing flights and doesn’t reschedule the flight within 48 hours of the original departure date. This also includes other forms of booked travel such as a public bus or train. I will go ahead and allow for a 50% refund within 2 weeks of the booking, and allow the other 50% to be used as credit for future bookings. In order for the rule of exception to apply, you will need to provide documentation from the airline (or other modes of public transportation) that they have cancelled the original travel reservation and were unable to reschedule within 48 hours.
